The Touratech EXTREME - White shock absorber spring is a dedicated solution for the rear of the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin (from 2020 onwards). Designed for touring and road use with variable loads, it provides a protective device and adjustments suited to the demands of travel and light off-road conditions.

This model features the PDS (Secondary Decompression Protection): a second hydraulic safety piston that limits the risk of breakage from shock at the end of the stroke. The damping is linked to the stroke, with a comfortable operating range for regular use and a progressive action of the PDS during significant impacts. The hydraulic preload can be quickly adjusted via a knob, to restore the motorcycle/load balance without removing the spring.

A compensation reservoir with very fine damping adjustment allows for fine-tuning the chassis behaviour according to the riding style and road conditions: motorway, national roads, paths, or heavily loaded long journeys. Suspension height: standard. Approval: ABE.

Note: if you increase the reservoir capacity or attach bulkier luggage, Touratech offers adaptations (spring with a higher coefficient) upon request via the chassis control form.
