The EXTREME shock absorber from Touratech (white colour) redefines the behaviour of the rear suspension for BMW R1200GS (2004-2012). Designed for long-distance riders and globetrotters carrying a passenger and luggage, it combines fine adjustments and protection against bottoming out with complete peace of mind.

Technology: the EXTREME features the PDS, a hydraulic protection against shock breakage relying on a second damping piston. The damping is linked to the stroke: during regular use, the setting remains comfortable, then the PDS kicks in during the last part of the travel to limit extreme loads and reduce the risk of bottoming out on rough tracks or roads.

User-friendly: the hydraulic preload knob allows for quick restoration of the motorcycle's balance according to the load (luggage, top case, passenger). The compensation reservoir offers very fine adjustment of the damping to adapt the chassis to your riding style, from fast roads to more challenging sections.
