Touratech EXTREME - White — Rear shock absorber designed for BMW R100GS/PD & R80GS (from 1988). ABE approval, standard suspension height.

Designed for loaded travel and mixed road/trail outings, this Touratech EXTREME shock absorber combines reinforced components and fine adjustments. The lightweight aluminium body incorporates a separate compensation reservoir and a separator piston structure (oil/nitrogen) for more precise response and better cooling under intensive use.

The PDS system (hydraulic shock protection) limits mechanical overload at the end of the stroke: during normal driving, the damping remains comfortable, then the PDS intervenes in the last part of the stroke. The hydraulic preload is quickly adjustable via an accessible knob, and the compression is separately adjustable for high and low speeds to adapt the chassis behaviour to your weight and load.
