Touratech Level 1 (-50 mm) – White
Rear shock absorber designed to lower the seat height of your BMW R1200GS (2004–2012) by 50 mm without compromising travel capabilities. The Level 1 comes factory set for a rider up to 100 kg (including luggage) and offers a useful adjustment range to restore the balance between load, handling, and comfort.

• Height reduction: -50 mm (rear lowering) to facilitate ground contact.
• Adjustments: preload adjustment knob (adjustment tool provided/required) and damping adjustment for compression and rebound.
• Construction: lightweight aluminium body, special low-friction seals, stainless steel bushings in the mounting eyelet.
• Technology: separator piston (oil/nitrogen) for precise damping response and better cooling during intensive use.
• Approval: ABE provided.
• Colour: white — neat finish, designed for adventure spirit and road use.

Important: lowering requires consistent front/rear adaptation — a specific front shock absorber must be installed simultaneously. For optimal handling after lowering, Touratech recommends using the standard length side stand and/or the original BMW centre stand. An engraved QR code allows access to individual data and basic settings of the shock absorber.
