Touratech Level 1 - White: rear shock absorber specifically configured for the Suzuki DL1000 V‑Strom (2002‑2013). Designed for touring riders, this spring-shock absorber offers a wide range of adjustments to tailor the riding behaviour according to load and riding style.
- Usage: touring and road riding with luggage.
- Adjustments: adjustable preload (tool required) and precise damping adjustment (compression and rebound) to modify traction and pressure settings.
- Construction: lightweight aluminium body, low-friction seals, and stainless steel bushings in the eyelets for stable mounting without play.
- Technology: oil/nitrogen separator piston ensuring finer response, effective damping at high frequencies (damaged roads, tracks), and better cooling.
- Approval: ABE provided. Mounting: rear.
- Capacity: designed for a rider up to 100 kg (including luggage). Colour: white.
- Traceability: QR code engraved on the shock absorber with individual data and basic settings.
The Level 1 comes ready to use for the DL1000 V‑Strom according to Touratech's experience. For extreme configurations (larger tank or very heavy luggage), a stiffer spring is available upon request after chassis inspection. Replacing a single component without adjusting the rest of the setup may leave the riding behaviour sub-optimal.
