Rear - EXTREME - White by Touratech: a shock absorber designed for loaded motorcycles and demanding terrain. Designed for the BMW R1200GS Adventure (LC) 2014-2017, this rear combination offers a compromise between road comfort and control when the load, terrain, or your riding style varies.

The EXTREME system incorporates the PDS, a hydraulic protection against shock failure based on a second piston, which engages in the last part of the stroke to prevent mechanical overloads. The damping is linked to the stroke and the preload can be quickly adjusted via a knob. The compensation reservoir allows for fine adjustment of the damping to adapt the chassis to your load (luggage, passenger) and the road conditions.

Contents: ready-to-install shock absorber, general approval, and installation instructions. Note: not suitable for BMW ESA Next Generation "Autolevelling" systems (from 2018). For motorcycles equipped with DDC (2014-2017), Touratech offers an optional deactivation switch to avoid error messages. If you increase the reservoir capacity or attach more luggage, a stiffer spring can be provided upon request via our chassis control.
