Touratech Rear - Level 1 - White
The rear shock absorber designed for the BMW R100GS/PD and R80GS (from 1988), Level 1 is aimed at the touring rider who wants more precise road handling without disrupting the original geometry. Reliable on long journeys, it offers a range of adjustments suitable for typical loads and damaged roads.

• Ready-to-use configuration: set for R100GS/PD & R80GS based on Touratech's experience.
• Adjustments: adjustable preload with tool and fine-tuning of damping (compression and rebound) to adjust firmness and comfort.
• Construction: aluminium body for reduced weight, anti-friction seals to limit wear, and stainless steel bushings in the eyelet for play-free support even under load.
• Technology: oil/nitrogen separator piston for finer response, better cooling, and effective damping at high frequencies (tracks, degraded surfaces).
• Practical: QR code with individual data and basic adjustments accessible via smartphone.
• Approval: ABE. Suspension height: standard. Mounting: rear.
• Recommended load: suitable for a rider up to 100 kg (luggage included).

For optimal handling, also adjust the front (progressive fork springs recommended). If you regularly carry more load, Touratech offers an adaptation with a higher coefficient spring upon request via the chassis control form.
