Touratech Level 1 – Rear (White)

Designed for the BMW R1200GS (2004–2012), this Touratech Level 1 shock absorber is aimed at touring motorcyclists looking for an adjustable and robust rear suspension for road and long-distance use. Factory pre-configured based on Touratech's experience, it offers a wide range of adjustments to accommodate load variations and comfort or handling needs.

The aluminium body ensures a reduced weight, while the stainless steel bushings guarantee a solid hold of the fittings even under load. The separator piston structure dissociates oil and nitrogen for a finer damping response and better handling on rough roads. The preload is adjustable using a tool to quickly adapt the motorcycle according to the load; the compression and rebound adjustments allow you to fine-tune the traction and pressure settings to your preferences.

A QR code engraved on the shock absorber provides access to individual data and basic settings, making it easier to reset in case of incorrect adjustment. Note: for optimal performance, it is recommended to adjust the front and rear together — replacing a single component may disrupt the motorcycle's balance. For higher load requirements, Touratech offers stiffer springs upon request.
