Rear - Level 2 - White by Touratech is a shock absorber designed for long rides and demanding journeys on the BMW R1150GS Adventure (from 2002 onwards). Built around a floating piston and an aluminium housing, it combines robustness and lightness to handle loads and miles without sacrificing comfort.

• Adjustment: adjustable hydraulic preload via an accessible knob, compression and rebound settings to adapt the motorcycle according to load and riding style.
• Construction: floating piston separating oil and nitrogen for more precise response and improved thermal dissipation.
• Durability: low-friction seals, stainless steel bushings in the mounting eye, and components sized for intensive use with heavy motorcycles.
• Compatibility: rear mounting, standard height, ABE approval. Designed for a rider weighing up to 100 kg (including luggage).
• Finish: white colour reflecting the Touratech aesthetic; QR code on the body for accessing specific information about the shock absorber.

The Level 2 provides a more controlled riding behaviour than the original equipment, while offering a wide range of adjustments to easily switch from solo loading to a fully loaded trip. For a coherent front end, Touratech recommends pairing the rear Level 2 with the appropriate front solution (Level 1). Replacing just one shock absorber may not be sufficient to restore optimal machine behaviour.
