Product details :

YSS MZ456 Topline Z-Series Rear Shock Absorber (manufacturer part number: MZ456-290TR-29-85): a compact and adjustable solution dedicated to demanding roadsters. Designed to replace the original equipment, this YSS shock absorber offers a balance between comfort and handling thanks to its gas emulsion design and adjustment options.

Type: gas emulsion
Adjustments: preload, rebound, length adjustment
Piston Ø: 50 mm — Shaft Ø: 16 mm
Approval: TÜV

The Topline Z-Series allows for fine-tuning the preload to adapt the stance for the rider or load, while the rebound screw enables adjustment of the compression/rebound response. The length adjustment facilitates geometric adaptation and ground clearance adjustment without heavy modifications.

Ideal for owners of classic roadsters — particularly the Yamaha FJ 1200 (3CW) from the model years 1988 to 1990 — this shock absorber is aimed at riders looking for a robust, easy-to-adjust replacement suspension that meets TÜV standards.
