The JT SPROCKETS crown reference JTA853.44BLK is a part designed for motocross riders looking to lighten their transmission without sacrificing strength. Machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum (Ergal), it features an ultralight profile and a sleek black finish.
This crown directly influences the gearing: replacing or modifying the number of teeth allows you to adjust acceleration and top speed according to your track or off-road usage. The finish includes a treatment that facilitates mud and debris evacuation, useful in off-road conditions to limit clogging around the transmission.
Designed for mounting on 520 pitch transmissions when the number of teeth and cut match, it is particularly suited for the motocross machines listed below. It’s a lightweight and high-performance option for those looking to optimize the weight/reliability ratio of their transmission.
