The JT Sprockets sprocket reference JTR223.53 is a wear part designed for motocross and enduro riders who are replacing their transmission or want to modify their gearing. Machined from C49 steel, it features a standard profile (type 223) compatible with 520 pitch chains. Its classic design allows for easy installation as a direct replacement on many older models.
Ideal for a refresh or for adjusting torque/acceleration through gearing changes, this sprocket is aimed at riders looking for a robust and straightforward part, without complex modifications. It is perfectly suited for the listed motocross machines, including several Husqvarna models from 1988–1989 (WR 400, WR 250, CR 250). Be sure to check the chain pitch and the number of teeth on the sprocket to ensure compatibility before installation. Regular maintenance of the chain and sprocket is recommended to optimize the lifespan of the entire transmission system.
