Touratech offers a side stand plate extension designed for outings where tarmac gives way to dirt. Gone are the stressful stops by the roadside: this part increases the support surface of the stand and limits sinking on loose ground, sand, or wet grass. Ideal for heavily loaded motorcycles and riders who enjoy camping far from stabilised parking areas.
- Function: side stand extension/support
- Material: a mix of stainless steel and black anodised aluminium
- Finish: black anodisation for aesthetic uniformity with the running gear
- Practical advantage: enlarged support surface to reduce the risk of sinking
- Installation: attaches to the existing metal plate of the side stand
- Compatibility: suitable for KTM 1290 Super Adventure (2021-). For the S version, reference to check: 01-373-5276-0
Robust without being bulky, this extension maintains a technical and discreet look while enhancing confidence when placing the motorcycle down. A small accessory that simplifies stops on uncertain terrain and protects the stand when the load and terrain combine against you.
