Designed for raids and adventure, this EXTREME2 shock absorber combines a +25 mm cartridge with a focus on precision and longevity. Its friction reduction, achieved through "low friction" piston bands and 46 mm pistons, refines the compression and rebound response for sharper handling on both road and off-road.

The progressive damping system (PDS) incorporates a new hydraulic buffer that limits the risk of bottoming out in engaged passages. An enlarged oil reservoir and improved heat dissipation reduce the tendency to overheat and the variation in oil viscosity during sustained efforts. The compression adjustment range, widened for both low and high speeds, allows for fine-tuning the damping according to pace and terrain, while the spring preload remains mechanically adjustable (no hydraulic preload to optimise weight).
