Front / rear lowering kit (-30 mm) - Black — Touratech
This Touratech spring kit allows you to lower the motorcycle by 30 mm by replacing the original springs. Specifically designed for BMW R1200GS (2006‑2012) equipped with original Showa shocks and without ESA, it maintains the character of the suspension while reducing seat height and making it easier for shorter riders to reach the ground.
- Compatibility: BMW R1200GS 2006‑2012 — only original Showa, without ESA.
- Effect: lowering of 30 mm, with a slight loss of ground clearance.
- Colour: Black.
- Approval: ABE provided.
The kit includes replacement springs for the front and rear as well as detailed installation instructions. The progressive springs are designed to fit precisely with the original parts and optimise dynamic behaviour without modifying the shocks themselves.
Installation tips: have these springs installed by a specialised workshop. It may be necessary to adjust the length of the side stand and centre stand after installation. For optimal tuning, check the geometry and ground clearance after installation.
