DRAG SPECIALTIES Fuel Tank (ref. 011497-BX34) — designed for riders looking to equip their Sportster or roadster with a robust tank that has a raw steel look. Built from thick steel with reinforced welds, this tank provides a solid presence on the bike's line and during long journeys in the city or on the road. Delivered unpainted, it is aimed at builders and customizers who want to refine it to their taste.

• Fuel outlet: left side (Left Fuel Tank Outlet)
• Material: steel, raw steel/silver finish
• Dimensions: approximately 2" (≈5 cm) wider than original tanks
• Complete kit: includes ultra-strong mounting tabs and hardware; caps not included
• Fuel tap: uses a 22 mm tap (sold separately)

Important for installation: all tanks are supplied unpainted and must be fitted, pressure tested, and sealed before painting. On models from 1992 onwards, if the original venting system is removed or disconnected, the original vented cap cannot be reused — however, it is possible to opt for a screw cap from an earlier version.

Compatible with several Sportster models (e.g. Harley-Davidson XL 1200 S, XL 1200 C, XLH 883 — see specific compatibilities). Ideal product for custom projects, robust replacement, or refurbishment of a tank.
