Before installation, it is crucial to compare the diameter of the threading, the pitch, and the length of the probe with the original screw of your engine. This check ensures a proper installation and prevents leaks. The gauge is commonly installed in place of the filler screw or in a location designed for a temperature probe: a simple disassembly that can be done in your workshop or by your mechanic.
Practical for the road or the workshop, it allows the rider to keep an eye on the temperature rise during sport sessions or long trips. Check compatibility before purchase and ensure to have the appropriate seals/sealing products if necessary.
