The MEFO MOM 19-1/G Groove foam (110/90-19) is a solution designed for off-road motorcyclists seeking improved performance from their rear end without changing tires. Its specifically designed carcass offers greater flexibility than a standard foam, allowing for more natural suspension compression and rebound, resulting in a refined riding feel.
- Type: MEFO Groove foam — optimized generation for off-road
- Wheel diameter: 19 inches (110/90-19)
- Rim width: 1.85 - 2.15
- Position: Rear
- Benefits: reduced weight (less unsprung weight), better internal heat dissipation, increased durability of the foam
In practice, the Groove design promotes a more progressive damping behavior and better control during braking and acceleration on varied terrains. The reduction in unsprung weight helps the suspension respond more quickly, while the lower temperature rise inside the tire contributes to preserving the foam over time.
Manufacturer reference: MOM 19-1/G — rear fitment 110/90-19, compatible with rims 1.85–2.15.
