• The tread of the MICHELIN Road Classic range combines a perfect balance between performance and aesthetics by using slick areas in the centre and on the shoulders to achieve optimal contact with the road and excellent grip on dry surfaces.
• On wet surfaces, the MICHELIN Road Classic reassures the user thanks to its tread made from a 100% silica compound and a tread depth of 26%, providing a high level of grip in these challenging conditions, without any compromise on tyre longevity.
• The architecture, the true skeleton of the motorcycle tyre, must solve the complex equation of reliability over time for several safety performances, such as supporting the weight of the motorcycle and rider/passenger, ensuring the stability of the motorcycle at high speeds, all while being comfortable.
• The architecture of the MICHELIN Road Classic tyres meets all these requirements by using Bias Belted technology, which works as follows: The two carcass plies (Bi NC) ensure load-bearing functions, contribute to stability in all situations, and provide the rider and passenger with a comfortable ride.
• The two crown plies (Bi-NST: Working Crown Ply) wrap around the entire carcass, thus preventing tyre deformation caused by centrifugal force at high speeds and allowing for a constant and optimal contact surface with the road.
• The Road Classic is a Tubeless tyre which, when used with a Tubeless rim, does not require an inner tube; however, when used with a Tubetype rim, fitting an inner tube is, of course, necessary.

• Structure: radial (ZR, or R) or diagonal (B), both tyres must be identical in this criterion
• Diameter: expressed in inches, e.g., 17 or 19
• Load index: maximum load that the tyre can support
• Speed index: maximum speed that the tyre can support
• M/C indicator: purpose of the tyre, M/C for motorcycles
• With or without inner tube: TL ("tubeless") for tyre without inner tube, TT ("tubetype") with inner tube
