ROAD CLASSIC Tyre 130/80 - 17 65H by Michelin

The Michelin Road Classic is a rear tyre designed for the road and classic motorcycles. Its design combines enhanced grip on both dry and wet surfaces, improved stability, and good longevity for urban and touring rides.

Design and Materials

• Deep grooves and multiple edges evacuate water film to enhance grip on wet roads.
• The 100% silica compound promotes grip on wet surfaces while supporting the tyre's longevity.
• The two carcass plies provide the necessary rigidity for stability while maintaining flexibility for comfort.
• The two tread plies limit centrifugal force at high speeds to preserve tyre stability.

Usage and Performance

• Wet grip improves by 50% compared to the previous generation, enhancing confidence in the rain.
• Slick zones in the centre and on the shoulder optimise ground contact on dry roads.
• Cornering stability improves by 50% compared to the previous generation, maintaining a more stable trajectory.
• Straight-line stability improves by 40% compared to the previous generation, facilitating road journeys.

Installation and Fitting

• The 130/80 - 17 size with a load index of 65 and a speed rating of H is suitable for replacing a rear tyre with the same specifications.
• The fitting is indicated as tubeless, without an inner tube, for installation on rims designed for this system.
• Tubetype fitting is also possible to accommodate configurations compatible with an inner tube.
