STARCROSS 6 MEDIUM SOFT 100/90 - 19 57M Tyre by Michelin

The Michelin STARCROSS 6 MEDIUM SOFT rear tyre is designed for motocross on soft and mixed terrains. Its design enhances traction, grip, and the longevity of the lugs in off-road use.

Design and Materials

• The Silica technology strengthens the structure of the lugs to maintain their performance in off-road conditions.
• The Adaptive Design improves grip and tyre stability on mixed terrains.

Usage and Performance

• The positioning of the lugs in three zones optimises grip and traction depending on the part of the tyre being used.
• Traction is reported to increase by 16% compared to the MICHELIN Starcross 5, enhancing acceleration grip.
• Long-lasting grip and longevity are claimed to improve by 19% compared to the MICHELIN Starcross 5, supporting extended off-road outings.
• The reversible design offers a second life to the tyre when its mounting direction is reversed.

Installation and Mounting

• The Tube Type mounting requires an inner tube to install the tyre on the wheel.
• The recommended pressure of 0.9 bar / 13 psi provides a baseline for tyre usage.
• The minimum pressure of 0.8 bar / 11.6 psi sets the indicated threshold for inflation.
• Pressure should be adjusted according to terrain, weather conditions, motorcycle power, and rider level to optimise tyre behaviour.
• The size 100/90 - 19 with a load index of 57 and a speed index of M facilitates replacement with a tyre of identical characteristics.
• Manufacturer reference 233393

Safety and Standards

• Not road-approved, this tyre is intended for use on motocross terrains.
