Set of 5 valve shims from HOT CAMS, designed for the adjustment and maintenance of valve trains equipped with shim systems. These shims allow for precise adjustment of the valve clearance during a cylinder head overhaul or after camshaft replacement, ensuring that factory tolerances are met and that the timing system operates smoothly.
- Brand: HOT CAMS (American manufacturer)
- Manufacturer reference: 5PK1000250
- Diameter: Ø 10.0 mm

These shims are intended for motorcyclists and mechanics who perform valve clearance adjustments (checking clearance at the rocker arm heel or under the bucket depending on the setup). Before installation, check the necessary thickness with a gauge and always replace with shims of identical dimensions to ensure consistency in the adjustment. Suitable for routine maintenance operations and to compensate for wear in timing components.
A simple and reliable product for the workshop: bring this set during a cylinder head overhaul to save time and maintain precise timing adjustments.
