HOT CAMS Valve Shims Ø8.90 x 1.76 mm - Set of 5
Set of 5 HOT CAMS shims, designed for replacement during valve clearance adjustments. Engineered to fit on the valve seat (or under the retainer depending on the architecture), these shims allow for precise adjustment of the necessary thickness between the camshaft and the valve to achieve manufacturer tolerances during maintenance or engine preparation.

Ideal for maintenance operations on the cylinder head — checking clearance, replacing worn shims, or adjusting during camshaft installation — these shims are provided in multiple sets to cover several valves or to create a reserve of thicknesses. Before installation, check compatibility with your model and adhere to the manufacturer's torque and timing specifications. Regular checking of valve clearance is essential to preserve the longevity of the valvetrain and prevent unintended contact between the cams and retainers.
