TOURMAX Valve Shims Ø25 x 3.1 mm - set of 2 (manufacturer reference V25-310T/2). These TOURMAX shims are designed for valve adjustment work on engines that use shim-type timing. They allow for precise adjustment of the valve clearance when the cylinder head system uses interchangeable shims.
- Diameter: 25 mm
- Thickness: 3.1 mm
- Quantity: 2 shims
- Brand: TOURMAX
- Reference: V25-310T/2
Ideal for routine maintenance or refurbishment of a cylinder head, these shims help achieve the correct clearance between the valve and actuator (camshaft, rocker arm, or finger follower) without requiring complex adjustments. Before installation, check the required specification in the manufacturer's manual and inspect the condition of the seats and valves. Choosing the correct thickness is essential to maintain timing and avoid noises or performance losses related to incorrect clearance.
Workshop tip: always replace shims in pairs if installation requires it, adhere to the torque specifications, and perform a final clearance check when hot according to manufacturer recommendations. If in doubt, entrust the operation to a qualified motorcycle mechanic.
