Malossi Set of 19x13,7mm 12gr - 6 pieces Variator rollersRef : MAL00193A / 1007884

Set of 6 MALOSSI rollers, diameter 19 mm and width 13.7 mm, each weighing 12 g. Designed for urban scooter transmissions, this set of rollers serves as a reliable technical replacement for original variators.

Operation

Machined in CPT with a specific formulation, these rollers exploit the centrifugal force generated by rotation: the heavier the roller, the quicker it locks the variator, and vice versa. Their role is to determine the engagement moment and the engine speed range.

Variator Adjustment

The choice of roller weight allows for adjustment of the transmission behaviour. Lighter rollers favour a higher engine speed before engagement, while heavier rollers engage earlier. This is an adjustment factor to consider for tailoring the scooter's response to your urban riding.
