Operation

During rotation, the mass of the rollers generates a centrifugal force: the heavier the roller, the sooner it constrains the variator to open, and vice versa. These 15 g rollers (per roller) therefore influence the moment when the transmission revs up, affecting the responsiveness and feel during acceleration.

Variator Adjustment
