Set of 6 Malossi rollers, designed in CPT with a specific formulation to provide consistent wear and a smooth response from the variator. This technical spare part is intended for urban scooters, allowing adjustment of the engagement timing and engine response without modifying the engine block.

Operation

The rollers convert their mass into centrifugal force during the rotation of the variator: the heavier the roller, the earlier the centrifugal force pushes the slider, facilitating a low-rev gear change; the lighter it is, the longer the variator takes, allowing the engine speed to rise.

Tuning Advice

Choose rollers that keep the engine within its optimal power range based on your usage (urban riding, acceleration, load). Lightening the rollers increases the peak revs, while adding weight enhances low-rev torque.
