Set of 6 Malossi rollers 23x18 mm, made from CPT with a specific formula for use on urban scooter variators. Designed as technical replacement parts, these rollers allow for fine-tuning of the CVT transmission behaviour without modifying the engine components.
Operation
When rotating, the rollers develop a centrifugal force that acts on the variator's range: the heavier the roller, the faster the variator increases the ratio. At a constant weight, their profile and material influence the smoothness of the acceleration and the response to throttle.
Variator Adjustment
Choosing the right roller weight allows you to set the engine within its desired RPM range to optimise acceleration and stability at a steady speed according to your urban usage. These 15 g rollers are suitable for an adjustment aimed at a typical acceleration/slowdown compromise for city journeys.
