Features

MALOSSI roller weights designed for urban scooter variators. These 8 replacement weights (Ø 26 x 12.8 mm) are machined from CPT with a specific formula signed by Malossi, designed to provide a long lifespan and consistent behaviour in the secondary transmission.

Operating principle
The weights convert their mass into centrifugal force when the variator spins: a heavier weight tends to raise the movable pulley earlier (reducing the RPM), while a lighter weight allows the engine to stay at a higher RPM for longer. They are therefore an essential adjustment element to adapt the engagement timing and RPM range of the scooter, without altering the original mechanics.
