Usage and adjustment
The rollers act via centrifugal force: in rotation, their mass pushes the movable pulley and modifies the ratio transmitted to the engine. By choosing an appropriate weight, you keep the engine within the desired rev range to optimize acceleration in the city or smoothness at low revs. This kit is used to replace the original rollers during a variator adjustment or a transmission overhaul.
