Set of 8 MALOSSI rollers designed for scooter transmission: ø26 x 12.8 mm, unit weight 15 g. Made from CPT with a specific Malossi formulation, these rollers provide a reliable technical replacement for the original variator. Ideal for those who want to refine the response and acceleration of their scooter without modifying the base mechanics.
Operating principle
The rollers convert their mass into centrifugal force during acceleration: the heavier the roller, the faster it pushes the movable pulley, lowering the shift RPM. Conversely, lighter rollers keep the engine at a higher RPM to promote increased revs. The choice of weight (here 15 g) directly impacts the engine's RPM stability, acceleration, and the usable power band.
