These Malossi rollers are designed as technical replacement parts for urban scooter variators. Made from CPT with a specific formula by MALOSSI, they integrate into the transmission to adjust the engagement point and engine response.

Operation
The rollers utilize centrifugal force: as the variator spins, the weight of the rollers generates a push that moves the weights and alters the ratio. The heavier the roller, the earlier the RPM increase occurs; by lightening it, this moment is delayed, allowing the engine to run at higher RPMs.

Variator Adjustment
Choosing the right diameter, width, and especially the right weight of the rollers allows for fine-tuning the engine's operating range according to your urban riding style (frequent starts, acceleration in traffic). These rollers are used as a complete set (8 pieces) for uniform adjustment.
