Features

12 V DRAG SPECIALTIES Regulator – Manufacturer ref. 74540-07

Designed for vintage and touring motorcycles, this DRAG SPECIALTIES solid-state regulator replaces traditional contact regulators. Its black aluminium construction is designed to withstand vibrations, moisture, and shocks encountered on the road, while providing reliable charge management for the battery and onboard electronics.

Maximum current: 40 A
Material: Aluminium, black finish
Type: Solid-state regulator (no relay contacts)
Usage: Designed for alternator/generator applications on vintage/classic and touring motorcycles

Thanks to its electronic regulation, it generates a stable voltage regardless of the electrical load, limiting voltage spikes and protecting the battery and accessories (headlights, onboard electronics, audio systems). Ideal for long journeys and load increases related to touring accessories. Compatible with several Harley-Davidson Softail models (e.g. FXSTSSE 1800, FXSTC 1584, FXSTB 1584 depending on year and configuration) — check vehicle compatibility before installation.
