Designed for optimum airflow and made from real carbon, it tends to deform when the engine is running and the temperature rises. This is due to the higher temperatures, as it becomes softer, resulting in an even less optimal airflow. Our carbon intake prevents the airbox from distorting and considerably improves engine power.
To use this air intake, you need a Twin Air Powerflow kit (part number 154222C).
Fitting the inlet
- 1. Remove the air filter cover.
- 2. Start by removing the temperature sensor
- . 3. Make sure the temperature sensor is pointing downwards. Hold the inlet in one hand, with the aluminium label facing you. Make small rotational movements as you push.
- 4. Make sure that the inlet is fully inserted; press firmly. The hole for the temperature sensor must match the hole in the rubber.
- 5. Assemble the temperature sensor: it passes through the rubber of the airbox and the intake.
- 6. Fit the air filter support from the Twin Air Powerflow 154222C kit and the air filter cover for the duct. The standard air filter support is too low; the Twin Air support is higher to allow air intake.
- 7. Need to clean your motorbike? You can fit an air box cover to make it airtight.
- Real carbon
- Massive improvement in bottom power
- Optimum air flow
- Easy to assemble
- Prevents deformation of airbox rubber at high temperatures
- Hole for temperature sensor included
- Ensures that dirt/mud is evenly distributed throughout the airbox
