Features
ANDREWS Valve Kit (manufacturer part no. 288137)
Complete camshafts designed for chain drive, manufactured in the United States from alloy steel billets and heat-treated for durability. Bolt-in kit suitable for intake & exhaust applications, supplied with the front camshaft support bearing. Designed to work best with low-restriction exhausts and provide stable idle with a wide torque range (recommended operating range: 2200–5800 rpm). Compatible with carburettor and injection.
- Durations (°): intake 236°, exhaust 240°
- Opening/closing angles: exhaust open 46° • intake close 38° • exhaust close 14°
- Material: alloy steel billets, heat treatment
- Mounting: bolt-in • Includes front support bearing
- Mechanical compatibility: works with stock springs and lifters; compatible with carburettor or injection
- Installation notes: the installer must check the spring locking, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance before commissioning.
- Specific notes: camshafts for models 2000–2006 equipped with a splined drive sprocket; for 1999, a splined sprocket is required.
