Fluid InsideTM* pads each pod includes a soft membrane filled with a compressible foam disc saturated with low shear fluid.

At the moment of impact, the foam compresses to provide additional protection against linear impacts. Simultaneously, a low shear fluid is dispersed throughout the shell, creating a slip plane that allows the helmet to move relative to the head to ensure protection against rotational forces.
