Our opinion:

The tapered chin bar shape allowed for a lower position on the tank and better aerodynamic penetration.

In 1975, Agostini won the 500 World Championship with a brightly coloured and recognisable suit, as per Dainese tradition: white and red, with stripes on the back reflecting the colours of the Olympic rings.

This iconic suit inspired the graphic of Gloria (an Italian word that translates to "glory" in French) which features the same pattern and colours.
