Manufacturer part number: 525SRX2-STL 122 MLJ

The EK 525SRX2 QX-Ring chain brings back the essentials of a reliable transmission: a solid balance between performance, longevity, and cost. Coming from the SRX series, it is aimed at riders looking for a robust 525 chain with standard links and QX-Ring seals to minimize lubricant loss and premature wear.

• Type: 525 transmission chain, 122 links
• Seals: QX-Ring for better internal sealing
• Color: Steel / Steel
• Relative lifespan: 3400 (for 100 links, manufacturer data)
• Weight: 1.81 kg / 100 links

Designed for a wide variety of uses — urban, off-road, and roadster — this chain fits transmissions with a 525 pitch. It is suitable for sprocket/crown sets where a low-maintenance solution is sought thanks to the QX-Ring seals. Before installation, check the length and number of links for a precise fit and proceed with riveting according to manufacturer recommendations.

Common applications include recent sport and roadster machines: KAWASAKI Z H2 SE (2025), BMW S 1000 XR (2025), or YAMAHA R9 (2025) — provided that dimensional compatibility with your model is confirmed.
