RFX Pro Series Chain Tensioners – Manufacturer Ref: FXAB4030099RD
Specifically designed for off-road use, the RFX Pro series tensioners make wheel changes easier and provide more precise alignment without complicated handling. Designed for motocross practices, these tensioners install quickly and give a factory finish to the swingarm.
Construction and Finish:
- CNC machined aerospace-grade 7075 aluminium for a lightweight and precise component.
- CAD-optimised profile to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity.
- Tight tolerances for a snug fit on the axle and spacers.
- Axle support holding one side to allow tightening with a single wrench.
- Laser-engraved RFX logo and red anodisation for a neat finish that resists aesthetic damage.
Installation Instructions (Summary):
- Place the motorcycle on a stand and lift the rear wheel.
- Remove the axle and wheel, take off the old tensioners, then position the new ones on the swingarm.
- On some KTM models, removing and reinstalling the axle may require heating/vice; proceed with caution and use red thread locker upon reassembly if indicated.
- Apply waterproof grease to the axle and spacers, align the wheel with the tensioners, then tighten the axle nut to the torque specified in the manufacturer’s manual.
