POLINI Crankshaft - Manufacturer Ref: 210.0070
This "Evolution" crankshaft with solid masses from POLINI is designed for urban modifications on Vespa bases equipped with the reed valve cylinder (ref. 140.0227). Designed with circular masses and tungsten inserts as well as aluminum caps, the crankshaft aims to optimize gas behavior within the crankcase and the balance of the entire assembly.
- Stroke: increases the stroke to 54 mm
- Connecting Rod: machined from a single block, center-to-center distance of 105 mm
- Target Displacement: allows reaching approximately 152 cc when mounted with the correct cylinder
- Installation: requires crankcase boring
- Balancing: factory-balanced crankshaft
Installation is reserved for experienced tuners and DIY enthusiasts: engine intervention required (boring of the crankcases, checking piston/cylinder head clearance). Particularly suitable for restorations and modifications on the classic Vespas listed below.
