Security
ODS® system for enhanced protection against linear and angular impacts.
It can be reconditioned to extend its lifespan and provide greater safety for the rider, while staying within budget.
It is equipped with shock-absorbing pads, all working at the same time, which connect the skullcap to the ODS system, protecting the brain from shocks. This exclusive shock-absorbing system allows the skullcap to move in 3 dimensions, making it ideal for both large and small shocks. After an impact, the ODS system returns to its original position.
To offer better protection and energy management, the design of the shell has been thought out in such a way that all elements and materials work in unison. The right compromise has been found to have a shell that is both solid and not too rigid, so as not to interfere with power transmission.
The ODS system's first and most important means of protection is the internal EPS cap, made of a PVC shell. You could say it's a helmet within a helmet! Connected to the helmet via 4 inserts coupled to the ODS system, this cap is softer than the outer one, which is made of polypropylene, and is held in place by the chin strap for extra protection. In addition, this shell offers greater resistance to the EPS cap and acts on the glide surface to reduce angular acceleration forces.
The pluses "
The helmet offers a relatively low weight, without sacrificing safety.
The cheek pads are removable to facilitate rescue operations in the event of an accident.
The inside of the helmet is made of Coolmax, an antibacterial fabric
