Alpinestars S-M7 CAST 2027 Cross helmet - Red / YellowRef : AP4452

Design and materials

• Pre-impregnated composite shell designed using advanced moulding techniques to provide a lightweight and durable structure
• Multi-layer construction using fibreglass, carbon, and aramid fibre for optimised energy absorption in the event of an impact
• Ultra-lightweight at 1,280 g (size M), reducing neck fatigue during long rides

Protection and reinforcements

• Integrated PLASMA Inside technology in the side pads to enhance shock absorption in critical areas
• Patented coating system reducing rotational acceleration transmitted to the head by 76% to limit harmful forces during an impact
• Patented visor release triggered beyond 15 J to decrease rotational forces related to the visor during a collision
• Integrated profiled chin bar providing structural reinforcement to the lower part of the helmet

Comfort and ergonomics

• Removable lining with 3D foam and antimicrobial treatment for easy maintenance and lasting hygiene
• Integrated hydration channels on both sides of the shell allowing for the installation of a hydration system while riding

Ventilation and breathability

• Ultra-ventilated design with 20 air intake and exhaust ports for maximum airflow and effective cooling
• Smooth, aerodynamic profile reducing turbulence for more stable airflow while riding

Fit and sizing

• Patented A-Head Fitment system for precise adjustment of the helmet's angle and height, ensuring a proper fit
• Three shell sizes and six user sizes (XS to XXL) to tailor the helmet's fit to individual morphology
• Interchangeable cheek pads and emergency foam removal system to customise the fit and facilitate extraction in case of an accident

Safety and standards

• Available in ECE 22.06 and DOT homologation versions depending on the market to meet local requirements
• Removable insert integrated on top of the EPS compatible with ejection systems to facilitate rescue operations if necessary
