Alternator Cover Removal Tool by Laser Tools

Extractor designed to remove the alternator cover when the magnetic field makes the operation tricky. Supplied with 3 M6 guides, a progressive force screw, and a protective plastic ring to safeguard the crankshaft and its nut. Manufactured in Sheffield for industrial-grade production suitable for workshop use.

Design and Materials

Plastic end ring to protect the crankshaft and nut during extraction.
Manufactured in Sheffield ensuring industrial machining suited to mechanical stresses.

Practicality and Features

Three M6 guides provided to ensure reliable positioning of the cover during extraction and reinstallation.
Progressive force screw to apply consistent pressure and extract the cover perpendicularly without deformation.
The magnetic field around the alternator is quite strong; using an extractor is necessary to remove the alternator cover.
