Features

AXP Adventure Skid Plate - PHD 8mm (manufacturer ref. AX1627) designed for KTM 1290 Super Adventure R / S. This 8 mm thick HDPE engine guard provides robust protection for the engine block and lower components of the motorcycle, designed for road use and demanding excursions.

Material: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) – strength and lightness.
Thickness: 8 mm for good resistance against impacts and shocks.
Weight: 30 to 40% lighter than aluminium, without the drawbacks of deformation.
Acoustic comfort: absorbs impacts and reduces resonance noise and vibrations.
Finish: cut from black sheets — the colour does not chip like paint.
Mounting: system designed to combine robustness and low weight.

Mounting is designed to maintain compatibility with the original centre stand and KTM original crash bars; cutouts may be necessary for other protections. Ideal for riders who want reliable protection for the casing without adding weight to the machine, while facilitating maintenance.
