DescriptionaXp GP - HDPE 6mm Engine protection

Product details :

Features

The AXP GP - PHD 6mm skid plate (ref. AX1687) is designed for motocross riders seeking effective protection without adding weight to the machine. Made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene) of 6 mm, it contours the lower part of the frame and engine to limit impacts during jumps, landings, and obstacle crossings.

Enveloping protection: more coverage than MX skid plates for better coverage of the lower engine.
High-performance material: 6 mm HDPE, cut and heat-formed to maintain its geometry.
Lightweight: lighter than an enduro skid plate and up to 40% lighter than a 4 mm aluminum skid plate — improving inertia and maneuverability.
Mechanical comfort: does not absorb shocks and limits vibrations transmitted to the frame.
Easy installation: attaches to original points without drilling or modification; hardware kit and instructions included.

Ideal for motocross practice, this skid plate fits many modern models. Common compatibilities:

YAMAHA YZ 450 F (2026 - 450 cc)
FANTIC XXF 450 (2026 - 450 cc)
YAMAHA WR 450 F (2026 - 450 cc)

Robust, discreet, and lightweight, the AXP GP - PHD 6mm protects the bottom of your motorcycle while preserving dynamic behavior on specials and during whoops exits.
