Designed for enduro riders seeking reliable protection without adding weight to the bike, this engine guard made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) combines strength and lightness. Its thermoformed and welded construction, along with a thickness of 6 mm, provides an effective barrier against stones, roots, and terrain impacts while minimising vibrations and unwanted rattling.
The HDPE used is a flexible technical plastic that absorbs impacts and returns to its shape, reducing the risk of cracks. At a comparable weight, this guard is approximately 40% lighter than an aluminium version, preserving the machine's agility on single tracks and during obstacles.
