POLINI Lamellar Engine Case For Race – Manufacturer Ref. 170.0201

Lamellar case made of die-cast aluminum designed by Polini for Piaggio Ciao and Si mopeds. Intended for urban use, this case accommodates a 4-reed carbon lamellar valve and a rubber manifold compatible with Polini CP or Dell’Orto PHBG carburetors.

• Material: aluminum (die-cast) for a sturdy structure and precise machining.
• Intake: designed to house carburetors up to Ø21 mm to increase possible air flow in suitable configurations.
• Cylinder compatibility: accepts cylinders with 3 or 4 captive bolts (Polini recommends using 4 captive bolts).
• Installation: removal of pedals required. No machining needed for Piaggio Si; chassis reaming required on Ciao.
• Ignition and transmission: compatible with the original electronic ignition, however, Polini recommends using its ignition and solid mass crankshafts for competition setups.
• Adaptations required: intended for lamellar preparations — check compatibility according to your engine configuration.
