TFX1 Gore-Tex® Gloves by Five

The TFX1 Gore-Tex® is a trail-adventure glove designed for long journeys and extended rides. Its mixed construction of full-grain goat leather and RipStop fabric combined with the Gore-Tex® Grip™ membrane provides waterproofing and sensitivity to controls. It combines technical protections and a long cut to ensure safety and comfort on the road.

Design and Materials

• Full-grain goat leather palm with digitalised texture for lasting flexibility and grip suited for controls
• Water-repellent and stretchy fabric back for a good balance between comfort and durability during extended rides
• External seams at the fingers to limit friction points and enhance freedom of movement

Waterproofing and Sealing

• Waterproof-breathable GORE-TEX® Grip membrane bonded to the structure and lining at the palm protects against the elements (including heavy rain), ensuring maximum sensitivity to controls.
• Water-repellent outer fabric complements the membrane and reduces water ingress during adverse weather

Protection and Reinforcements

• ERGO PROTECH® monobloc TPR shell on the metacarpophalangeal area to protect joints without hindering mobility
• Large SuperFabric® reinforcement covering the thenar and hypothenar eminences to enhance abrasion resistance in case of a slide
• Soft TPR protective elements on the index and middle fingers to absorb impacts
• Integrated scaphoid protection to enhance wrist safety in case of impact
• Semi-flexible 3D TPR shell on the forearm for enhanced protection during shocks
• Memory foam reinforcements at the palm and thumb to better distribute forces during a fall

Comfort and Ergonomics

• Double tightening with V-elastic and Velcro for a precise fit over or under the jacket sleeve
• Long cuff ensuring a good connection between the glove and the jacket sleeve
• Expansion gussets at the index and middle finger joints to maintain mobility during control actions
• Pull’N’Ride™ tab for easy donning even with technical gear
• Silicone print in the palm for better grip on handlebars, useful in wet conditions
• Screen-printed internal lining providing a pleasant sensation to the touch
