• Tread 2 offers an incredible range of mapping features to help adventurers push back their limits and explore all types of terrain with complete peace of mind
• Off-road mapping: it's easy to find your way with detailed navigation instructions for roads and other unpaved routes, as well as OpenStreetMap content, preloaded topographic maps with 3D terrain for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including Tracks4Africa, and information on snowmobile trails throughout Finland, Norway and Sweden.
• Satellite imagery: subscription-free aerial views can be downloaded directly to the device via Wi-Fi® technology to display high-resolution aerial views of routes and terrain.
• Real-time updates: you can use the Tread mobile application on a compatible smartphone with an active cellular or Wi-Fi connection to access the weather in real time. Users can share GPX files of their favourite routes and track their friends' positions in real time using the Group Ride2 mobile function.
• Road maps: on normal roads, preloaded Europe City Navigator® maps are available.
• Outdoor Maps+: subscribing to Outdoor Maps+ gives you access to premium map content, including slope angle, altitude data, avalanche risk reports and more.

HANDLEBAR CONTROL

• Adventure enthusiasts can easily use their compatible Tread or their zūmo® XT2 GPS thanks to the new handlebar control (sold separately). This module lets you zoom in and out on the map, select and scroll favourite map layers and waypoints, and control the music. What's more, its button design makes it easy to use with gloves and other accessories.
• The handlebar-mounted control includes a number of versatile mounting options to suit most motorbikes, snowmobiles and off-road vehicles. It's also dust- and water-resistant (IP67) for adventures in tough terrain, and the wired power source ensures reliable performance in extreme temperatures.

MULTIPLE ADVENTURES

• Users can stay connected when venturing beyond mobile coverage by pairing up with a compatible inReach® satellite communications system that provides two-way messaging (voice messages and photos on some devices) and position tracking via the global Iridium® satellite network. In the event of an emergency, you can send an interactive SOS to Garmin Response℠, the 24/ 24 7 international emergency aid coordination centre 7.
• Adventure enthusiasts can also track their group members by linking their Tread 2 to the Group Ride Tracker system to share their location off the mobile network. The device can also be paired with a Bluetooth® headset or helmet for hands-free communications
