Product details :

Features

Lightweight knee protector with extended protective coverage.
The upper and lower frames are constructed from a high-performance polymer for optimised levels of flexibility and strength as well as excellent weight-saving properties.
The integrated double-pivot hinge system of the upper and lower frames follows the natural movement of the knee and keeps the protector well positioned while driving.
The frames have a slim, ergonomic design.
The double strap closure system features a hook and loop closure with snap buckles for easy entry and exit and a secure, custom fit.

Materials

Dual-density co-injected frame for unrivalled support and comfort: Designed with a flared lower extension in a soft polymer blend to avoid pressure points associated with a hard edge resulting from the boot being pushed against the protector. The same flared design is also applied to the top extension, preventing the protector from digging into the skin and causing discomfort while driving.
Controlled Natural Movement: Featuring the Dual Gear System (DGS) where the upper and lower frames have integrated gear profiles that provide a fluid hinge function to promote natural knee articulation.
Ergonomic frames with versatile sizing: The ergonomically sculpted frames of the SX-1 PLASMA knee protector feature strategically positioned rigid and flexible over-injected shells, offering a secure yet adaptive fit for a wide range of leg sizes.

Protections

Protection of the Ball Joint System: The Ball Joint System is designed to provide complete coverage of the knee cup, whatever the degree of extension, while the rigid outer shell of the Ball Joint System prevents injuries caused by impact with the handlebars.
Highly comfortable: The Nucleon PLASMA knee protector is made from a viscoelastic material certified biobased by the USDA. Designed for multi-directional flexibility, the protector adapts to the knee for a snug fit, effectively dissipating impact energy to provide reliable protection.
